The Martyrdom Day of Shaheed Udham Singh Ji was observed on 31July,2018 at Akal Academy Mayopatti. On this day, after regular assembly schedule special assembly was conducted by the students. In this special assembly Simran Gill from Grade VIII gave her speech in English on the life history of Shaheed Udham Singh Ji. After this, Grade VII boys presented a role play in which they showed the massacre of Amritsar and its effect on Shaheed Udham Singh’s life. At the end, Gurkamal Saini gave her speech in Punjabi on the life history of Shaheed Udham Singh Ji.This day brings a lot of patriotic emotions. It develops the more respect towards our nation and freedom fighters also.
