The Inter-House Hindi Debate Competition was held at Akal Academy Bilga on the 14th August , 2018 for the students of four houses.The debate emphatically aimed at helping our student to appreciate the ‘Pros and cons of the issue. It gives students creative room to express what the feel. It was conducted by Hindi Department under the supervision of Acitivity Incharge & Hindi HOD Madam Inderjit Kaur. All the Hindi teachers fully prepared the students for this debate. Madam Suman Rai and Neelam kaur also co-opertaed. The judges of this competition were Mr. Ram Nath and Mrs. Rajwinder Kaur. Students firstly spoke in favor of given topic then against the given topic.The participants of the four Houses spoke candidly for and against the given topics . They came up with their perspective regarding the same. They cited reasons and supported them with suitable examples from real life, to justify their stand. It was an enriching and learning experience for the young debaters and the audience to listen to the arguments put forth by all the participants. The debates were engrossing and the audience thoroughly enjoyed the event. The students spoke vehemently on the issue and came up with their perspective. Each participant rose to defend their arguments. The debate was lively with plethora of arguments and counter arguments. Some participants argued for the motion and some against the motion. They cited reasons to justify their stand. All the team exhibited great oratorical skills. The energy exuded by the participants was overwhelming. The judges were deeply engrossed in the ideas of the students and they praised the courage and spirit of the participations. The audience highly appreciated the debate and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the event. At last Questions were asked from all the students. The first position was bagged by Ajai House while second position was bagged by Abhai House and third position was bagged by Atul house.
Principal Harpreet Kaur sahni thanked speakers on their whole-hearted participation. She congratulated the winners and awarded them certificates. She appreciated the efforts made by Hindi teachers. She said that we should use internet properly. Excess use of internet make us sick and decrease our mental level. It also waste our time if we use it uselessly. This type of competition are helpful to enhance the knowledge of students.
