Akal Academy Holi (Barara) celebrated Independence Day with unprecendent patriotic fervor on Aug.16,2018. The gamut of celebration activities held on the campus consisted of special morning assembly and poetry recitation. The entire school assembled at the ground. The principal hoisted the Tricolour. The national anthem echoed in the entire campus.
Classes from Nursery to VII participated in Independence Day Celebration. The students of classes Nur, KG, 1st danced on the patriotic song. The students of class II,V,VI,VII sang beautiful patriotic poems. The students of Class IV sang a patriotic poem. The students of class VI performed one act play on our Motherland. The students of class VII actively participated in Gatka activities.
At the end, Principal Mam gave a speech reminding the students and the teachers of the sacrifices made by our great freedom fighters and made us take pledge that we would serve our motherland with heart, body and soul to bring it glory and laurels with our dignified deeds.At the end, students were distributed sweets.
