Akal Academy Telipura has successfully marched a walkthon to create awareness among people regarding the bad impact of drug abuses or drug addiction. This walkthon was started from Tanda Ujjain, Kashipur with showing a green flag in the presence of Sub inspector Tanda Ujjain Mr. Susheel Kumar Bisht, The members of Lions club. The Principal of Akal Academy Telipura (Mrs. Manjeet Kaur Riar) with teachers and students of academy. This walkthon started from Tanda Ujjain and went through the city kashipur Maharana Pratap Chaunk, Cheema Chauraha, Stadium (Kashipur) and reached at Gurdwara Nankana Sahib Kashipur. There were at least 117 students from class VI to VIII and they showed too much interest to aware people and to speak slogans as “Be a thinker, Not a drinker”. “Drugs are not cool, They make you fool”. “देश को बचाना है नशा मुक्त कराना है”. This walkthon ended at Guruduwara Nankana Sahib. Langer served to all the students.
