Akal Academy Dhaliwal Bet had celebrated Parkash Purab of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji on 17 November 2018 with full happiness. Gurupurabs are celebrated at different time of the year as Parkash Purab and Shahidi Purab of the Gurus. It is one of the biggest festival of Sikhs. Guru Nanak Jayanti is celebrated in the month of Kartik on the day of full moon known as Kartik Purnima.On the Gurupurab day the programme begins at about 10:00am with the Shabad Kirtan. On that day Bhog of Sehaj Path was done by students and the Granthi ji of the village Dhilwan. Then Prasad was distributed among Sangat. After all this Harjit veer ji (Jathedar) of Akal Academy told students about the importance Nitnem and Gurpurab celebration. After that the small kids of Akal Academy Dhaliwal Bet Nursery-VII presented their items by Shabad, kvishries, choreography, play, speech and gatka.At the end our Honorable Principal Madam congratulated everyone on this beautiful occasion.
