Drug addiction Awareness Rally was organized on 14.11.2018 by Akal Academy Fatehgarh Chhanna. Sr. Narain Singh SHO sadar police station Samana flagged off the rally. Before starting he addressed the students and appreciated the efforts made by Akal Academy Fatehgarh Chhanna that gives value based education to students. He also motivated the students about their social responsibilities to educate people to eradicate the social evils like drug- addiction that is rampant in Punjab. He also motivated them to read value based good books and expressed the hope that the students of Akal Academy would come up to his expectations.
At this time Honorable Principal Mrs. Ravinder Kaur, AST Nirmaan Singh, Mangat Singh constable and Prithi Singh Sarpanch, Thamman Sigh wala, Kulwant Singh, Sarpanch Nadampur and Sr.Dalbara Singh were also present. Honorable Principal Mrs. Ravinder Kaur thanked the police officers and others dignitaries for their help and cooperation.
The students were divided into two groups. The rallying students visited many villages and were greeted by the village Folk. The students highlighted the menace of drug addiction through a skit that was greatly appreciated by the people. After going through many villages the students returned to the academy and the rally dispersed there.
