The 549th Parkash Purab of first sikh guru ” Guru Nanak Dev Ji ” was celebrated On 21st November 2018 at Akal Academy Jandiali.The programme started with a procession in which the saroop of ” Guru Granth Sahib Ji ” was brought to our academy with great pomp and show in which the students,staff and parents welcomed the shri guru granth sahib ji.The various activities has been performed (shabad,kavishari ). The chief guests on this occasion was Mr.H.S ANAND ( Zonal Director ) and Mrs.ARVINDER PAL KAUR OBEROI (Mega Cluster Head ) chief guest first visited the exhibition in which the students from all classes have showcased their model related to science and social studies. After this both the guest of honour also delivered a valuable and inspiring speech for the students focussing on the teachings of guru nanak dev ji, other than this, various choreographies were itemise by the student related to our sikh history. Performance of Gatka by the students was highly appreciated by the parents.Arranged langar for the students,staff and other sangat .The principal of the school Mrs.HARCHARAN KAUR thanked the parents and students for their support, co-operation and guidance. Last but not the least the event of gurpurab was a grand success with joint support of school principal,Management, Staff, Students and Parents.
