Celebration of Guru purab at Akal Academy Vachhoa

India is a place of saints and prophets. One of the great saint and Prophet Guru Nanak Dev Ji was born in the country and spread the message of love, unity and peace. On 28th November, 2018 A.A Vachhoa celebrated Guru Nanak Dev Ji, s birth anniversary with devotion and reverence. The bhog of sehaj path was done in the presence of Respected Principal Mam, staff, students and parents of the school. On the occasion kirtan was performed by the students. They paid tributes to Guru Nanak Dev Ji by spreading his divine message of harmony,humility and equality through poems,speeches and shabad kirtan. The annual prize distribution was held on this day. Respected Zonal Director Tejinderjit Singh ,Cluster Head Mam Kuljeet Kaur,Harpartap Singh(MLA) ,his son Kawarpartap Singh and Sarpanch’s of nearby villages came to attend the programme .Harpartap Singh Ajnala (Member of Legislative assembly) distributed prizes to the position holders of academic year 2017-18. Apart from this Harpartap Singh (MLA), Tejinderjit Singh (Zonal Director), Amrik Singh (Member of SGPC), Harjit Singh (Jathedar) and Principal Mam (Jatinder Kaur) encouraged the students with their inspirational speeches. On the other hand Science, Maths and S.Sci exhibition was also organized by the students with the help of the teachers of these particular departments. Langar and Tea was also given to the Parents as well as to students. In the end of the programme Gatka was performed by the students .Parents enjoyed the programme very much.
