Akal Academy Dharamgarh Chhanna celebrated an independence day on 16th August 2018 with a function in which participants of all the four houses delivered speeches on the heroes of freedom fighters who sacrified their lives for this country. Moreover, our Honourable Principal Ma’am Mrs. Rupinder Kaur also presented a speech regarding Independence day. Moreover, the celebration ended on a patriotic note with everyone standing up for the National Anthem.
Spell Bee Competition-> As we all know Akal Academies always keep on organizing different English language activities with the passage of time to help students to become friendly with with English. It is always found complicated for students to be more familiar with foreign language.Forinstance ,Akal Academy DharamgarhChhanna organized an inter House Spell Bee competition on 25 August , 2018. The activity included dictation of a paragraph jumbled words and fill up the blank space challenge. The competition was conducted by Ms. Simran Kaur. It was organized on 25 August, 2018 for students from grade Nur to VII.Make Strong Relationship between Human and Nature- Akal Academy DharamgarhChhanna organized a “ Tree Plantation Drive” on 21stjuly 2018 by the school’s ‘Grow green Campagn’. Near about 40 saplings were planted on the campus.
Divinity:-Akal Academy DharamgarhChhannacelebrated with great devotion and fervor the ParkashUtsav of Guru Grant Sahib with a Sehaj Path recited by all staff members. The Sehaj Path was recited by the students also. These paaths were followed by GurbaniKirtan. Divinity Debate was also held to enlighten the students about the significance of Guru Granth Sahib in Sikh’s life. It was held on 21-Nov-2018. On that day, Our chief guests also visted our academy on our cordial invitation( Joint Inspection Mr. Tejinderpal Singh and Cluster head Maa’m Mrs. RavinderKaur). They also delivered speech on divine peace and to encourage students to perform better in future. Despite of it, Various students performed and participated in different items in front of audience. There was an exhibition also which included all subjects models whteher those are working or non working. Moreover, Kirtan was also recited by our lovely students. Many of the students recited various Shabads in presence of Shri Guru Granth Sahib.
Library Stock:- there are near about books of English -425, Punjabi-127, Hindi- 42, Magazine- 6. In our library. During Library Period, students come to library to enhance their reading skills and gain knowledge skills. Moreover, they are guided by a librarian (Mr. Sukhwinder Singh) wherever they get issue any particular book, magazine or novel etc.
E.V.S activity:- As per syllabus instruction, Akal Academy DharamgarhChhanna conducted an activity (Sandwich activity) for IInd grade in month of July. In that activity, students stuffed sandwiches themselves and their teacher Mrs. Ramanjeet Kaur guided them in receipe and told how to share food with others. So everyone enjoyed this activity a lot. Our Principal Ma’am also instructed students about sharing habbits.
Art Competition-> As we all know students are always curious about art activities and art work. So,According to their taste, organization always organize various activities regarding art to encourage students.To motivate them and to make them perfect in art skills. So our art teachers Ms. Manpreet Kaur always guide students to be perfect in art.
Walkathon:- AS Youth is going towards drugs addiction. So, In case of that Akal Academy DharamgarhChhanna organized a walkathon related to drugs addiction. Students walked through Particular villages by using drugs “slogans”. Some teachers also accompanied them in this walkathon.
