The annual Athletic Meet at Akal Academy Bangi Nihal Singh Wala was celebrated with fun, fervor and true sportsmanship. The sports meet was declared open by the principal by releasing balloons followed by lighting of torch; the beacon for the games. An oath, to ensure fair play and true sportsmanship was administered by students. The entire atmosphere reverberated with applause of the ebullient and enthusiastic athletes. Students competed in various track and field events like 100 meter race, 200 meter race, shot put, obstacle race, spoon and potato race, 500 meter race, discus throw and 50 meter skipping race with zeal and zest.
