Tree plantation programme was held in our school on 27th July, 2019. The students brought many kinds of plants and all actively participated in the programme. Ms. Mandeep Kaur (Principal), teachers and students went to plant a sapling in our school premises. We had planted various types of plants like guava, rose, silver oak, ornamental plants. Principal ma’am explained about the importance of trees and its plantation. Even the staff also taught the students how to plant them and then they watered the plants. Tree planting event connected the students to the benefits of trees and forested environmental sensitivity in them. It also brought them closes to the environment. This activity also develops the skill of responsibility in the students. All the students were very enthusiastic and thoroughly enjoyed the planting process.
