An inter-house Hindi Debate competition for the students of Grades VI-X was organised on 3rd August 2019 in Akal Academy Manoli Surat. The students of Four houses:- Abhai, Ajai, Amul and Atul actively participated in the debate. The topics were – ‘Should Canteens be banned in school?’, ‘Village Life Vs City Life’,’Is it worth studying abroad for Indian students?’ The competition enhanced not only debating skills in the students but also made them aware of the crucial social issues of the country. Two students were selected from each section to speak in favor or against of the topic and the teachers judging them were Rajni Devi and Kamlesh Kumari. It was very impressive how those students presented themselves so courageously on the stage. There seemed to be no fear in them. And so, it was very difficult for the judges to select winners out of the participants. The result was announced as follows:- I –Amul House II –Abhai House III – Atul House
