One of the branches of Baru sahib Akal Academy Theh Kalander organised a debate competition. It was organised by Incharge of Hindi department Mrs. Sunaina and Mrs. Harpreet Kaur under the guidance of Principal Mrs. Gurjeet Kaur. Four different housed participated and discussed the topic of western culture v/s Indian culture. The students of 6th to 8th grade participated in it and they were very excited to discuss their perspectives. Abhai’s house was the winner. In the end, the principal Mrs. Gurjeet Kaur told that all the cultures have their own importance but we should only adopt good things. She spurred the students to always stay attached to their rich culture.
