The Inter-house ‘Know your states’ quiz competition was organized in A.A. Khera on 10th August 2019. It was house wise competition. The students from 1st to 5th participated in this competition.
A week before, the states had been allocated to each class like; I & II – Punjab III – Punjab, Mumbai IV – Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Hariyana V – Jammu & Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, West Bengal, The quiz began with the introduction of the quizmaster and contestants from each house – team.
The rules of inter-house quiz competition were announced. Ms. Harjinder Kaur(General Teacher) conducted the quiz in a very interactive way and the teams participated with great enthusiasm. They skillfully answered the questions asked. Though some of the questions were very tricky, the teams tried to answer them with confidence. The questions put forth to the teams were intriguing and exciting and the audience claps when the teams answered correctly.
The audience also got a chance to participate every time when the teams answered incorrectly. There were three rounds. Every round was a mixed bag with questions from different states. The final round was a buzzer round, it was very exciting. A range of motions was felt in the academy – happiness, sadness, regret, and excitement. Everyone waited with baited breathe for the announcement of the final scores. All the houses were giving tough competition to others, but in the end, Abhay house got 1st position, Atul house 2nd and Ajay house got the 3rd position. Headmistress
