Independence day celebration at AA Bilga

Independence Day of India is a National Festival. Celebrated every year on the 15th of August. It is a day of great significance for the people of India. 73rd Independence day was celebrated all over India with great pomp and show. Independence day is also celebrated at school on 16-08-2018 with great enthusiasm.

Students presented patriotic poems, speeches, group songs, and action songs. They were holding a national flag in their hands. The program was conducted under the supervision of Activity Incharge Ms. Inderjit Kaur with the cooperation of class in charge. Through the items, students showed their love for country and respect for all the freedom fighters. Students of KG grade also celebrated this day by coloring, tearing and pasting in the national flag.

KG teachers told the students about the history and the importance of this day. They introduced them to the colors of the national flag and its significance. Mr. Ashok Kumar, S. Tarlok Singh, and Mrs. Sumita delivered speeches in Darbar Sahib and inside the school campus telling about great sacrifices of our freedom fighters.

Principal Harpreet Kaur congratulated one and all on this day. She also guided to follow the path of freedom fighters. She also added that we all should work for the progress of our country. We should always remember the sacrifices of our freedom fighters.

After this Ms. Inderjit Kaur thanked principal Madam, teachers, and students. In the end, refreshment was distributed among students and staff.
