The event is conducted annually in Sep with an aim to contribute to the advancement of education by introducing new concepts, demonstrate and encourage the practice of actual methods and spur the participants to investigate it further.
‘Gifted Children’ are those who give evidence of high performance capability in areas such as intellectual, creative, artistic, leadership capacity, or specific academic fields, and who require services or activities not ordinarily provided by the school in order to fully develop such capabilities. Gifted education, also referred to as Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) or Talented and Gifted (TAG), and refers to the broad set of practices, pedagogy and theories used when teaching students who have been identified as “gifted” or “talented.” Domains include any structured area of activity (e.g., mathematics, music, language) and/or set of sensorimotor skills (e.g., painting, dance, and sports).”
The two eminent resource persons have more than 30 years of experience in the field and are unequivocally qualified.
