On Saturday 5, October 2019 Athletic meet held in Akal Academy Chak Mander. All the students participated from 3 more academies participated in this meet. In this Athletic meet, there were 50m,100m,200m,400m races, shot put, high jump, long jump, thug of War and relay race. Games started at 9:30 o’clock with the marching and oath ceremony. Grade 1st, 2nd, and K.G students went to the playground with their charges and played under the supervision of Mrs.Purvashi and they’re in charges after that games began,3rd and 5th grade went to the playground with PTI Mr. Paramjit Singh, Mr. Amarpreet Singh, Mr.Surjit Singh and played shot and long jump. Then 6th to 10th-grade (from other academies) students went to the playground and took part in races with huge energy and put full efforts for winning the race. After that, Thug of war has been played between all four houses. All students and teachers did an excellent job. In the end P.T.I teacher prepared results with his team Mrs.Purvashi, Mr.Amarpreet Singh and announced the results Principal Mrs. Moninderpal Kaur Sandhu distributed prizes to the student, she appreciated efforts of student and teachers for organizing such a big event. She motivated students to put equal efforts in games as well in studies with all the students filled with joy and happiness. All in all, this was a successful event, Many students won medals according to the games they have participated. Winners house names are written as below: 1st – Amul House 2nd –Atul House 3rd- Ajay House Best Athlete Boy in the high jump, long jump,200meter race:- Akashdeep Singh (Ajay House) Best Athlete Girl in 100 meters,200 meters, long jump- Jasleen Kaur (Abhay House).
