Akal Academy Jhandiana hosted an ‘Inter-Academy Football Tournament’ for the boys of class III-V. Teams from Akal Academy Rttian, Akal Academy Kale Ke, Akal Academy Manawan and Akal Academy Jhandiana were the participants of this tournament. The function was started by taking permission from Respected Principal ‘Ms. Anit Kaur’ after a ribbon cutting ceremony Principal of AA Jhandiana cut the ribbon and then there was a shabad by students of class VIII followed by a welcome speech by 2nd in charge Ms. Amandeep Kaur. Students of class X lead the teams for an Oath and then class VIII students took this function ahead by singing the national Anthem, with all the participants and dignitaries took the slip for the matches and the teams were decided. The first match between AA Jhandiana and AA Manawan was started with the referees’ whistle. AA Jhandiana was declared a winner with a lead of 1-0. Then the second match was between AA Rattian and AA Kale ke in which 1-0. The refreshment was served during the lunch break. The 3rd match i.e hard match for the 3rd position was between AA Manawan and AA Kaleke and here, AA Kaleke was declared as winner (BY toss). The Last and final match was between AA Jhandiana V/s AA Rattian in which a lead bagged the position with a lead of 2-0. Some Shayari, patriotic song and distribution of Appreciation on awards to the teachers were kept as a gap filler for breaks in between the matches. In the end, Ms. Hasandeep Kaur (Master of the ceremony) announced the results and called Principal Ma’m for presenting trophies and certificates to the teams.
