Akal Akademy Khera Athletic Meet “Apart from the education you need good health and for that you need to play sports “ To keep this in mind Akal Academy Khera organized Athletic meet on October 24, 2019. We started the programe at 9.30 a.m. with the Shabad then the welcome ceremony of the chief guest Ms. Sukhwinder Kaur (MCH). The students from Pre Nursery to 6th participated in it. A stage is set for students to display their sporting skills. The students of the school were divided into 4 houses i.e. Abhay, Ajay, Amul, Atul. The school students were jumping off their seats in excitements and cheering for their respective houses. For Pre Nursery, Nursery & K.G. we organized funny races like lemon race, pick the toy & keep it in the bucket , frog race, and 50 mtr. race. For 1 to 6th grade, the events were 100m,200m, 400m, shot put & long jump. All participants participated with great zeal. The judged for the day were Ms. Meena Rani, Mr. Harpreet Singh & Ms. Rajwinder Kaur. The chief guest Ms. Sukhwinder Kaur shared her experiences and encouraged the young pupils to inculcate sports in their daily lives. Then Principal Ma’am gave the vote of thanks to all. In the end, refreshment was served to parents, students, and staff. It was a successful function.
