Akal Academy Telipura organized Food Day Competition

Akal Academy Telipura  organized programme based on Heath Hygiene Nutrition Healthy food. To get the mothers to on the same wave length and to prepare them for the tirade they would be facing from their children about “This is junk food” Akal Academy Telipura organized a “Food Day Competition” for the mothers of the Kindergarten children on 05.02.2020 Wednesday.

The purpose behind this competition was to honour the contribution of a Mother and the role of her in our society and to encourage children to eat homemade food.

Program timing was 11:00am to 2:30pm:-

The program started exactly on 11:00am with recitation of melodious, spiritual shabad – kirtan. As it was the competition of Kindergarten Children, So a few teachers of Nursery and K.G managed well the day. This program was well-organized under the supervision of worthy Principal ma’am and

Co-ordinator Mrs. Maninder Kaur.

Dance Performance:-

Nursery and K.G children entertained audience with different performance. Mothers were happy and proud to see their children perform.

Gatka Performance:-

An awesome performance of Gatka by Akal students was performed under the supervision of Gatka In charge Mr. Harpreet Singh

Parent activities:-

Fun activities for parents were organized to involve them in the program. They were appreciate with prizes according 1^st , 2^nd and 3^rd position.

Judgement for meal:-

As all mothers brought more than two food items and showed within their creativity and talent, but the food items for competition had been told them earlier.

(i)                      Nursery kids mothers – Kheer with dry fruits etc.

(ii)                   K.G kids mothers – salty – rice having nutrients etc.

Prize distribution:-

Judgement for food items was done on the basis of 5 points like taste, quality, nutrition, health, appearance. Prizes were announced for mothers up to the 5^th position from each section.

Thus It was a successful completion of program. All parents had meal as well what they brought from their homes after judgement. So everybody praised the program and asked to organize such programs again.
