Saturday Activity (Grade-1st to 9th ) Date-1/08/2020 Day – Saturday Theme – Science Week for Explorers Grade-1st &2nd ACTIVITY- Make an organ on chart and tell its functions. Students participated in the activity with great enthusiasm and excitement. They drew the images of our organs on charts. They were quite regular in sending their videos in which they had shown their charts and explained the functions of the organ which they drew. The participation of the students was quite admirable as almost all the students participated in the activity by drawing beautiful images of HUMAN ORGANS on charts. They showed their talent by involving in activities according to class groups; the category was to describe their favorite scientist and his discovery. Students were engaged fully in activity. Students’ participation was quite considerable. Our GREAT SCIENTISTS showed their keen interest by performing various experiments. They performed experiments in which they proved that liquids exert pressure, air expands on heating. They also signified the significance of ignition temperature and wax smoke can also catch fire. They showed the volcanic eruptions, inflation of balloons with the help of lemon juice and baking powder, decantation process, motor boat etc. in their experiments. They used those materials which are easily available in homes like Eno, Candle, Water, Spoons, Plastic bottles, Lemon, Balloons, Glasses etc. They all participated with great passion and their hard work was acknowledged by the Principal Ma’am, Mrs. Jasmeet Kaur.
