Dastar Bandi competition
Dastar Bandi competition was held in Akal Academy Baru Sahib, keeping the Sikhi intact among the young generations. The impressionable minds are inculcated with the root values of Sikhism and are fed with importance of Dastars (turbans). Students of the Academy tied Dastar there and represented the school as a Sikh School. Raising Sikhs of the Future with Value based education is the essence of Kalgidhar Trust, grooming a cluster of Sikh youths according to the Sikh tenets. Most of the participants tied very good turbans.
