Basketball Inter-house Match

Goal: To emphasize sportsmanship, respect, responsibility, leadership and teamwork.

Recognizing the role of sports in developing intelligences like Bodily-Kinesthetic, Interpersonal and Intrapersonal, among others, IB PYP School, Baru Sahib provides well equipped multi sporting facilities that include a range of outdoor and indoor games. The school not only develops student’s physical abilities but also inculcates a sense of good sportsmanship in all students who further develop different levels of experience from the game. The provision of organizing a basketball inter-house match helps them hone their talents further. Recently a basketball inter-house match was organized where students’ improved their skills, competition was fierce and team-spirit was shown. Our basketball court was buzzing with the thump of the ball as students played with great zeal. Kudos to all the participants for such wonderful sportsmanship.
