Yoga and Aerobics
The art of practicing yoga helps in controlling an individual’s mind, body and soul. It brings together physical and mental disciplines to achieve a peaceful body and mind; it helps manage stress and anxiety and keeps you relaxing. It also helps in increasing flexibility, muscle strength and body tone.
Aerobic exercise provides cardiovascular conditioning. The term aerobic “with oxygen,” which means that breathing controls the amount of oxygen that can make it to the muscles to help them burn fuel and move.
Yoga practice and Aerobic exercises were held at Akal Academy, Baru Sahib IB World School as the weekend activity where all the PYP students enthusiastically participated in these health stimulating activities.
