World Environment Day
The purpose of World Environment Day is to spread awareness about the threat to the environment due to rising pollution levels and climate change. In an earnest attempt to lend a green touch to the school environment and sensitize the students about their role in conserving it, AKAL ACADEMY HOLI BARARA celebrated World Environment Day virtually.The celebration was an ideal opportunity to instill the value of social responsibility in the students towards safeguarding trees, Animals and forests. The focus of the celebration was towards forming a personal connection between the students and trees through a process of experience, reflection and creation, carried out through various activities. The events helped to bring awareness about the green cover around us. It also helped in strengthening the bond between plants and humans. Students got to learn a lot and will always cherish the memories of this important occasion. The objective of this activity was to educate students about various environmental issues namely pollution, water crisis and changing weather patterns. It is incredibly important for students to encourage them to save our environment . Moreover , the majority of students took part in this competition and numerous charts had been made by participants. The response of the students was very encouraging. Overall, it was successfully conducted on a virtual platform.The response of the students was very encouraging. The main objective of observing this day was to bring about a change in attitude towards the environment and advocate partnership between each human being and society to ensure a safe future. It is a Day that reminds everyone on the planet to get involved in environment friendly activities. The main purpose of today’s activity was to spread awareness about the need to protect the environment and the ways to do it. Keeping this aim in view , the students of Grade 6th to 10th made paper bags, cardboard box holders, stationary holders like items . All students participated with great enthusiasm , zeal & zest . The event was a success as each student contributed profoundly for this day.
