Following the norms of government the 365th ParkashPurab of Shri Guru Harkrishan Sahib Ji, the eighth Sikh Guru was celebrated in the premises of Akal Academy FatehgarhChhanna. The worthy principal of the institution adjured the students as well as the staff members to follow the path which was given by the eighth guru of the sikhs. Moreover speeches were delivered by the staff members and they shared some glimpses from the life ofGurujii. Students were told that he succeeded his father, Guru Har Rai, at the tender age of five, becoming the youngest Guru in Sikhism.
Along with the speeches Path and shabad was recited by the music teacher of the institution. The main raison d’être of Guru Sahib’s was told to the students and it seemed that the aim of organising the event was fulfilled.
