Rakhi Making Competition

Rakhi also known as Raksha Bandhan symbolises the true love and bond between brothers and sisters. Rakhi has deep significance and it has been used for the protection of the person who ties it on his hand from mythological times. This sacred thread is used by Lords Indra, Queen Karnavati, Kunti, Rabindranath Tagore and other famous personalities to create harmony in the world. In case of Lords and Demons war time, Rakhi was used by Indrani. This year’s Rakhi festival was on calendars on 22nd August. A Rakhi making competition was organized in *Akal Academy Pawen* on 21st August (Saturday). The students participated in this activity and made beautiful Rakhis using craft material and waste material. Children enjoyed this activity. Students of all classes took part in this activity.
