The Foundation Day of the Academy and the Sampurnta Day of Guru Granth Sahib Ji were celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Academy Manal under the management of Baba Iqbal Singh Ji. First the Guru was seated and Sukhmani Sahib was recited. Hukamnamas were taken and after the prayers the children gave speeches and told about Sant Teja Singh Ji and Sant Atar Singh Ji, the founders of Akal Academies, How he started the first academy in Himachal Pradesh with only six children and today 131 academies and Akal colleges have opened in Punjab, Himachal, Haryana, Rajasthan. Mr. Manjit Singh Jhajj who donated land for the academy and other dignitaries participated in it. At the end Principal Mrs. Charandeep Kaur congratulated all and thanked the dignitaries present.
