Guru Ramdas ji was born on 24 September 1534 in a Sodhi Khatri family in Chuna mandi, Lahore. Guru Ramdas ji was the 4th Sikh Guru. Guru Ramdas ji died on 1st September 1581, in Goindwal town of Punjab. Students of Akal Academy Pawen celebrated the birthday of Sri Guru Ramdas ji on 22nd October. In this religious activity students performed shabad gayan, sakhi and religious poems on the birthday of Sri Guru Ramdas ji everyone enjoyed the shabad kirtan very much. At the end of this activity was completed by distributing parshad.
