‘Diwali’ festival of lights and victory is celebrated with great fervour and gaiety throughout the country. Keeping in view the religious importance of the festival for Sikh community in mind the following activities were conducted in the school.
Students from all the classes made beautiful ‘Rangolies’.They also decorated their classrooms and corridors beautifully. A committee was formed to judge and give ranking to best rangolis and cleanest classrooms. Principal madam delivered a speech and told the students about Guru Hargobind and how he helped the native rulers to be released from Agra jail. Teachers were given gifts on this auspicious occasion.
