The students of Akal Academy, Bilga celebrated the 552th prakash purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji under the supervision of their music teachers ( Davinder Singh and Simarjit Singh) and the principal Harpreet Kaur Sahni with the blessings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji. The day was celebrated with the completion of 31 Sehaj Paaths, recital of shabads and poems. About 150 parents arrived to get the blessings of guru. Then, there was prize distribution for the students who got more than 90% marks in X and XI classes. They were earlier honoured by GNA University. Besides, in total, 17 the students, parents and teachers of Academy Bilga wrote waheguru jaap in thousands with love and devotion and they were given prizes sent by Mata Kolan ji Welfare centre. Also, the PTA members were honored for their unconditional contribution towards academy. On that pious occasion, madam Principal delivered speech about Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji’s teachings. The celebration ended with Ardas and the serving of Krah Prashad. After that, Guru ka Langar was served.
