On the account of Birthday of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Parkash Purab cum Annual function was organized on 18th November 2021 at Akal Academy Madhir.
Sri Akhand Path Sahib was Parkash on 16th November 2021 and Bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib was on 18th November 2021 at 08:00AM. Then one Sehaj Path bhog was also there.Sewa of Sri Akhand Path Sahib was performed by all staff members and students in the observation of Principal Ma’am.
Afterward Shabad Kirtan was recited by the students in the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib. A calm atmosphere was created by the soothing Shabads.Then Sacred Sroop Sahib valediction to Gurudawara Sahib with respect and religious ceremonies.
Kawishries were recited by students on the principles and teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji.Other cultural activities started with the welcome song which was performed by 5th Grade students. Small Skit and choreography on the teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was the highlight of this occasion. Sakhies were delivered by small kids. Students of Grade 8th enact a play on ‘Save Water’ , Students created awareness among the parents about different social evils very energetic performance ‘Gatka’ was also performed by the students.
Some competitions like long hair and turban tieing competitions were also organized.The main purpose of these activities was to create awareness among the children to save our Sikh Culture. Principal Ma’am appreciated to the mothers with ‘Sropas’ whose children got position in long hair competition. Toppers of academic year (2020-21) were awarded. Differenet models on the principles of Social Science , Science, Maths and Paintings were depicted in the exhibition. Students explained well about every model to the parents.
At the end of the programme respected Principal Ma’am thanked to the parents for their presence and great cooperation. She appreciated the efforts put in by the children and teachers. She gave message of universal brotherhood and humanity. She conveyed message to follow the teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
Finally Guru Ka Langar has distributed. All the parents appreciated this religious programme.
