“Language is the road map of a culture. It tells you where its people come from and where they are going.” International Mother Language Day was celebrated with great fanfare by Akal Academy Sujanpur. The students gave speeches, sung songs, recited poems,in their mother language (Punjabi). Speaking on the topic of language, education and development, a discussion was presented by the teachers showing the old culture of Punjab. A student who is fluent in his mother tongue can easily learn other languages. The program concluded with the worthy words of Madam Rupinder Kaur ( Principal). She enriched the students by describing the importance of language.
