Akal Academy Dadehar Sahib organized an educational tour for students to Jammu ( J & K )on 30th July and 31st July, 2022.
Students enjoyed the serene beauty of area, with hills and lot of greenery around. They visited Amar Palace , Art gallery and Museum at Hari Niwas. Different art forms and various painting like Basholi art ,oil paintings, etc. ere seen and appreciated by all students.
Afterwards, they visited Aquarium cum Awareness center. Students were overjoyed to see thousands of fishes . Many types of fishes actually triggered up their curiosity. They visited the Museum inside the same center, showcasing hundreds of specimen of aquatic animals. It was an eye opener for them. After this, they went to Bagh-e-Bahu, a famous garden of Jammu being organized by the Department of Floriculture. They enjoyed the beauty of Gardens, Flowers, Fountains and much more.
It was a wonderful experience for these children from Punjab. They keenly observed the difference between the land form of Punjab and Jammu. They were surprised to see so many bridges connecting the city with rest of India. On the other hand they liked Tunnels a lot.
Trips like this really enhance their observation skills.
