Inter House Mathematics Quiz Contest (2022-23) was organized in A.A.Chak Desraj on dated 16-07-22. The aim was to keep the students from class Ist to x afresh with their syllabus and to enable them to understand the day to day problems related with mathematical calculation. It was a House based competition. All the classes were divided in two groups (Group -1 class VI to X) and (Group-2 class I to V ). There were a total of four teams. Each comprising 6 members. There were a total of 5 rounds of questions. The quiz competition for group-1 was conducted by Ms Navjot kaur who was assisted by Mr. Parmjit Kumar and Mr Tanuj respectively.
The questions asked in this quiz were based on topics like number system, trigonometry, algebra, coordinates geometry angles and perimeters . ,Motivational speech by Principal cast a magical spell as all the students participated very enthusiastically. After a tooth and nail fight among the houses, Amul House and Atul House captured first and second slots by crushing the remaining competitors. Quiz for Group-2( I to V ) was conducted by Ms. Sarbjeet Kaur, Ranbir and Gurpreet kaur.
The questions in this group were based on the four basic skills(Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division). Profit and loss shapes and face value. There were four rounds of questions. Luckily it was Abhay House emerged victorious by remaining at no. 1 in the contest. Some questions were asked from the audience also .It was a very nice activity.
