Martyrdom Day Guru Arjan Dev ji Guru Arjan Dev ji was the first martyr of Sikh faith, who was executed on the orders of mughal emperor Jahangir. A sea change was witnessed after this exemplary sacrifice. Students and staff members of A A Chak Desraj paid true respects to Guruji by celebrating this historic sacrifice on May 31,2022.The program started with usual recitation of Gurbani during Nitname. It was followed by path of Sukhmani Sahib.
Speeches related with Guruji’s life, achievements and sacrifice were delivered in English and Punjabi by Students and teachers. On this historic day a Shabeel was also organized by both the students and teachers. Principal madam urged the students to always remember and follow the message given by ‘ Guru
