To develop a strong headed quality among students and enhance their speaking skills, Akal Academy Khera gave this opportunity to the students by organizing a Debate competition.
An Inter -House Debate Competition on “Agniveer” was organized by Akal Academy Khera, Hoshiarpur on 9th July, 2022 from Grade VI to VIII-B. Students saw their divisions in according to their houses that is Abhai-Amul and Ajai-Atul and held in activity room. Abhai-Amul spoke for the motion/statement while Ajay-Atul spoke against the motion. JudgesMs.Harpreet Kaur and Ms. Babita Takkhi observed and analyzed the participants. Students participated very enthusiastically andmade great impact on the audience by their logics and reasons. Ajay-Atul won this competition by their tremendous efforts.
Topic of the Debate for Pre-Primary wing was“Should Saturday be off?” from Grade I to V. House Abhai-Ajai from primary wing won this competition. The aim of this competition was to give students a creative platform to express what they feel. It also helped in enhancing their public skills and critical thinking.Each contestant presented their views with lots of confidence, clarity of thoughts and perfect voice modulation. Each question was answered very confidently and wittily.Everyone was very excited to have such a wonderful and joyful experience.
