Akal Academy, Holi (Barara) celebrated Guru Nanak Dev Ji Prakash Utsav, Annual Day and Prize Distribution Function with unprecedented fanfare on November 15, 2022 at the school premises. The school was decorated elegantly. A grand stage had been set up with professional sound system. Mr. H.S. Anand(Zonal Director ), Mrs. Arvinderpal Kaur Oberoi (Mega Cluster Head), Gurmeet Veer Ji,Mr. Satwinder Singh Bajaj had been invited as the Chief Guests. At first , Sahaj Path was done in the academy. After that, annual function was started.
The talented students presented mesmerizing cultural events such as plays, religious songs, poems related to the life and teachings of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji. The students performed “Gatka” very perfectly. .
Principal Ma’am, Mrs. Jasmeet Kaur, honoured the Chief Guests by giving them “Siropa”. She made the audience aware of the school’s achievements in academics and co- curricular arenas. Prizes were given away to the toppers . Addressing on the occasion, the Chief Guests praised the academy for its all round success and wished a better future for the students. They honoured Mrs. Jasmeet Kaur by giving her “Siropa”.
At the end, Principal Mam thanked the Chief Guests and parents for having spared their time to attend the function. She also thanked the students and teachers for organizing the function successfully. After that, langar was served to everyone.
