Drug menace has engulfed the youth of Punjab. Hundreds and thousands of families are losing their young sons and watching helplessly their house being destroyed. To get rid of this evil, the children, teachers and staff members took out a rally to enlighten the parents about the catastrophic results of this addiction. The rally stared around 12 pm after the performance of Ardas in village Taharpur gurudwara.The rally covered three villages namely Taharpur, Sarhal Mundi and Dhandwar On this occasion, a large no of people turned out from the house to encourage and appreciate the commendable task undertaken by the Academy. Punjab police personnel escorted the procession. ‘Punjabi TV Channel’ reporter was there to give coverage and show it live on TV and mobile phone screens. Principal Madam Hem lata urged the villagers to stand firmly against this monster of addiction and work for prosperity and safety of their houses.
