Guru Gobind Singh ji’s birthday was celebrated with great respect and fervor on 21 January at divinity hall of AAS. The program began with holy Sukhmani Sahib’s path by the students and the teachers.
Various knowledgeable programs were performed by students. Shabad Kirtan was performed by senior girls who filled the essence of Tyhee prakash…… humara piyoo….. in the entire sangat. Poems like “sikh nu haluna ——-“, “Amrit di sakhi” were recited with great reverences for Guru Sahib. Through different like poetry recitation , poetry writing competition and speeches students enlightened by the contribution of Guru ji to our community . Full enthusiasm was observed in everyone’s performance.
All these Competitions were followed by the Dastar Bandhi Competitions in which senior boys shows active participation.
The program ends with the bhog of shri Akhand path by the students and teachers.
