Gurpurab was celebrated at Akal Academy, Madhopur on 8th November,2023 with full devotion to commemorate the 554th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The programme was presided over by the Honourable chief guest Dr. Shaminder Kaur (MCH) and Dr. Jagdeep Singh(Special educator). After Shaloks recitation by students, Chaupai Sahib was recited melodiously by tiny tots. Shabads, poems were also recited.
Students exhibited the projects of Science, Social Science and Art & Craft , which was highly appreciated by the guests and parents.
At the conclusion of program;Gatka ( a traditional marital art ), which instills values of courage, honour and respect; was also presented with full enthusiasm.
