Akal Academy, Holi (Barara) celebrated Guru Nanak Dev Ji Prakash Utsav with unprecedented fanfare on November 15, 2023 at the school premises. The school was decorated elegantly. A grand stage had been set up with professional sound system. Mrs. Arvinderpal Kaur Oberoi (Mega Cluster Head),Mr. Bahadur Singh Ji(from regional office), Mr. Pardeep Rana(Block Education officer) had been invited as the Chief Guests. At first , Bhog of Sahaj Path was done in the academy. After that, the students of Nursery, K.G. , Ist, IInd , IIIrd ,IV and Vth gave excellent performances on “Waheguru is in me and you ”, “Nanak ji” “WahGuru,Wah – Wah Guru” , “Nanak Aad Jugad”, “Rja wich rakhin” ,”Behan Nanki……”, “Aar Nanak Par Nanak” . The students of class VIth presented a play on ‘life of Guru Nanak Dev ji. The students of class VIII gave performance on “Ardaas karaan”. The students performed “Gatka” perfectly. .
Ms. Jasmeet Kaur, Principal of academy, made the audience aware of the school’s achievements in academics and co- curricular arenas. Addressing on the occasion, the Chief Guests praised the academy for its all round success and wished a better future for the students.At the end, Ms. Jasmeet Kaur thanked the Chief Guests and parents for having spared their time to attend the function. She also thanked the students and teachers for organizing the function successfully. After that, langar was served to everyone.
