On November 17, 2023, 554th Birth anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji was celebrated in the campus of Akal Academy Fathegrah Chhanna. The day’s celebration started with the bhog of 15 Sehajpaths. Shri Guru Granth Sahib ji was brought in the pandal by the Akal band. A number of melodious and soul soothing Shabads & poems were recited by the students in the pandal where Shri Guru Granth Sahib honoured to be among the Sangat.
Sant Baba Kashmeera Singh ji acted as the chief guest of the celebration. Many personalities such as Mrs. Reetinder Kaur and Mrs. Harjeet Kaur came to bow their heads infront of Shri Guru Granth Sahib ji on the behalf of Kalgidhar trust Baru Sahib. Moreover Mr. Parminder Singh and Mr. Avijeet Singh also came from the Talwandi Sabo University to get blessings of Guru Granth Sahib ji. They shared their precious words with the students and sangat. An exhibition was presented by the students before the parents. Modals, charts, posters, pamphlets etc. were made by the students for the exhibition.
The chief guests and the representatives of Kalgidhar trust and Akal University appreciated the artistic & hard work of the students. Sehajpath students were honoured with gold medals by the honourable guests. Langar was served simultaneously. Gatka was limelight act of the celebration. Our principal Mrs.Ravinder Kaur congratulated staff members, students and parents on the Gurupurav of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji. She requested everyone to follow the principles of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji. Deg was served to the sangat after the bhog of sehjpath. This auspicious day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm by the students of the academy .
