Annual Day Prize Distribution Function 2023-24 was organized at Akal Academy Ghugg on 23rd February 2024. In order to make this event successful, a lot of preparations were made by students and teachers. The successful students in various fields such as , Education, Cultural Programs excellent in different fields had to be honored in the function.
Dr. Rajan Sharma (District Employment Officer kapurthala), Dr. Varun Joshi ( District Placement officer Kapurthala) S.Hardeep Singh ( ASI Kartarpur ) had to come as the Chief Guest. It was a matter of great pride for us. The parents of the students and other respected people of the villages were invited to grace the occasion. The function started at 10:00 am sharp.
The Chief Guest arrived on time. Our Principal and some staff members welcomed them with bouquets.Then ascorted them to the venue with band team .
The Function began with Shabad Gayan. Then program started with welcome song presented by our tiny tots of grade kg .The students of our school presented different items that show our Punjabi culture, struggle of army ,brain – drain theme, mime related to life without mobile phones and with mobile phone Sikh Sidant, skit on Save Environment , influence of social media and other cultural items. People enjoyed this Cultural Programme a lot with loud clapping. After that our Principal read out the Annual Report of the school. Immediately after that the Prizes were Distributed.
The Chief Guest distributed the prizes to the winners of the respective fields. Then Dr. Varun Joshi delivered a motivational speech. He advised all the students to not to use mobile and concentrate on their studies, do work hard in life to get success and play outdoor games. The function ended with National Anthem.
