It is time to remove the darkness of ignorance within us and replace it with the light of hope and knowledge instead. Festival celebration breaks monotony and infuses zeal in life. Bandi Shodh Diwas was celebrated at Akal Academy Raipur Peer Baksh Wala. After Nitnem shabad “Diwali di raat dive baliyan” and “Satgur Bandi shodh hai were recited. Then Prabhjot Kaur student of class XII familiarized students with the importance of this day and why Sikhs celebrate this day. The Principal Ms. Sonu Sharma also addressed the students and emphasized that alongwith celebrating festivals we must imbibe the spirit of these by following the footprints of the great personalities and by infusing merth in others’ lives through generosity and charity. Inter-House Rangoli Competition, Inter-House Poster making (Green Diwali) and Class-wise candle & Diya decoration Competition were organised. All the students cleaned and decorated their classes.The Principal visited all classes and appreciated the efforts of students. The motto was Green Diwali, Clean Diwali.
