A week commemorating the unparalleled sacrifice of shote sahibzadas was dedicated at Akal Academy Raipur Peer Baksh Wala. Starting from 20th December, the events and detailed history leading to great sacrifice was narrated everyday by the students.
On 22nd December the culmination of the commemorating week was conducted by recitation of Shri Sukhmani Sahib and bhog Sri Sehaj Path by students and staff members. Motivational and valour inspiring shabads like, ‘Tu hi nishani jeet ki’, ‘Aisi Marni Jo Mare’ were sung.
Kawishri and poems celebrating the courage and tolerance of sahibzadas were recited and sakhis were narrated by the students which literally gave goosebumps to all.
In the end Principal Ms. Sonu Sharma emphasized in her oration that Sikhi Sidak and values are a great responsibility passed on to the shoulders of the young generation by the sahibzadas so they all must strive to emulate them and should not let them down by going astray from the path of Sikhism
