Sant Teja Singh Ji Maharaj Day 01-03 July, 2024
By the blessings of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and under the guidance of our respected Principal Madam and teachers.
It is hereby informed that Sant Teja Singh Ji Maharaj Day was celebrated by the students, teachers and non-teaching staff religiously and joyfully in the premises of Akal Academy Manoli Surat.
“Sant Teja Singh (1877–1965) was a prominent Sikh spiritual leader, scholar, and poet who played a significant role in promoting Sikhism and its teachings during the early 20th century.”
The following activities were conducted to celebrate this pious day in the sweet memory of Sant Teja Singh Ji Maharaj.
1. An Essay Writing Competition was conducted to make our students aware of Sant Ji’s inspirational life & legacy (Grades: VII to XII).
2. Shabads were recited by the students.
3. A few students prepared the PPTs creatively, which described the brief bio-sketch of Sant Teja Singh Ji.
4. Speeches were delivered by teachers and students to inculcate the eternal values of Sant Ji to make them better human beings for a harmonious future.
Our Divinity Teacher, Mrs. Chanranjit Kaur encouraged the young learners to read the biography of Sant Ji.
