Eye Screening Camp
On 13 July, 2024, Akal Academy Tibber hosted a successful eye screening camp for its students.
The camp was conducted by a team of experienced optometrists from Delhi.
The objective of the camp was to provide free eye screenings to students, identify vision
problems at an early stage, and offer corrective measures to ensure optimal eye health.
Students from classes [II-XII] participated in the screening process, which included visual acuity
tests. The medical team examined over 80 students and provided personalized
recommendations for those who required further attention.
The screening revealed that 90 students had vision problems, including myopia, hyperopia, and
astigmatism. The team distributed free spectacles to students who needed corrective eyewear
and referred cases requiring further treatment. Parents showed their gratitude towards the
Kalgidhar Society, Baru Sahib.
