Celebration of Martyrdom Day of
Shaheed Udham Singh
On July 31, Akal Academy Bilga commemorated
the brave and selfless actions of Shaheed
Udham Singh on Martyrdom Day. This day marks
the anniversary of his execution in 1940 for
seeking justice against those responsible for the
Jallianwala Bagh massacre in 1919.
A special morning assembly was conducted to
pay tribute to the great freedom fighter. After
Nitnem Mrs. Inderjit Kaur share her views
about the sacrifices of the freedom fighter. After
that student from VI C delivered the speech to
provide more information about the life of
Shaheed Udham Singh .
A beautiful poem recited by students of grade X
,Sahibdeep Singh and Indervir Singh .Bravery of
Shaheed Udham Singh was beautifully explained
through this poem.
It is always important to remember our brave
freedom fighter who fought for our bright future.
