INTER-HOUSE DEBATE COMPETITION
Akal Academy Rampur Sunra, Phagwara held its highly anticipated Inter-House Debate Competition for Classes VI-VIII. The event showcased the impressive talents of our students as they engaged in thought-provoking debates on pertinent topics. The competition aimed to foster critical thinking, public speaking skills, and teamwork among our students. The competition involved active participation from four houses within the school: Ajay, Abhay, Amul, Atul. Each house was represented by six members. Ajay and Abhay were in favour of the motion, Amul and Atul were against it. The topic of the competition was – “Smartphones effects on Students Life”. The rules and regulations of the debate were explained, and speakers spoke for and against the topic. The debaters put forward their views confidently and were extremely well-researched about the topic. The Principal Manreet Kaur gave her valuable feedback to the speakers to guide them to perform better in the future and announced the winners of the event.
